Skills ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected, used, and disclosed by the Skills application.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage data (e.g., screens visited, features used) via PostHog to improve the app.
Local Data: Your habits, entries, notes, streaks, and Focus session history are stored locally on your device with SwiftData, in an app group shared with the Skills widget. There is no account and no cloud sync: iCloud sync is disabled.
Apple Health: Health data is read only, one metric at a time, and only after you allow it. Skills never writes to Health, and no Health value and no habit content is ever sent to analytics.
Purchase Information: If you make an in-app purchase, Apple and RevenueCat securely process the transaction. We do not have access to your payment details.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

To provide, maintain, and improve the application.
To analyze usage trends and track crash reports so we can fix bugs.
To manage your subscription status for Premium access.

3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The app uses the following third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:

PostHog (Analytics) — opt-in, explicit events only, with no session replay and no autocapture.
RevenueCat (Purchase management), together with Apple's App Store.

Skills has no backend of its own. Your habit data never leaves your device.

4. DATA RETENTION & DELETION

Because your habit data and history are stored locally, you can export it as CSV, delete a habit in the app, or remove everything at once by uninstalling the app.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By downloading or using the Skills app, these terms will automatically apply to you. You should read them carefully before using the app.

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

Skills is an application designed to help users track daily habits, log entries and notes, maintain streaks, run Focus sessions, and view their progress history.

3. IN-APP PURCHASES & SUBSCRIPTIONS

The app offers a free tier limited to three active habits. The full report is also part of Premium. Everything else — reminders, statistics, the yearly chart, notes, moods, Focus, the Face ID lock and the CSV export — is free.
Premium is sold as a one-time "Lifetime" purchase or as a subscription. The available plans, their prices, their currency and any free trial are the ones the App Store shows on the paywall at the time of purchase; this document names none of them.
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings.

4. USER CONDUCT

You agree not to use the app in a way that:

Violates any applicable laws or regulations.
Infringes on the rights of any third party.
Attempts to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the app.

5. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

The application is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the app's reliability, accuracy, or suitability for any purpose.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the app.

7. CHANGES TO TERMS

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting.
